
Quick Attack, Engine 1, Tanker 1, and Brush 1.
Brush 1: This vehicle is a 1975 4WD Dodge 3/4 ton truck. It served as our
primary wildland fire response unit for many years. It was acquired from the Forstery Service in 1993. It carries
a 300 gallon tank with a 200 GPM pump. Originally it was equipped with two red line hose reels. These were later
removed to reduce the weight of the truck.


This is how Brush 1 originally looked. The two red line reels were later removed to reduce the overall weight
of the aging vehicle.

Brush 2: Brush 2 was recieved from the Forestry Service in 2000. It is a
Chevy 3/4 ton, 4X4, P/U. It augments Brush 1 and carries a 250 gallon tank with a 200 GPM pump. This unit is brought
to the Speedway as a back-up as well as for off-track responses. It enables the department to still provide race
support and respond to other calls if needed.



Tanker 1: Tanker 1 is a 1973, 2 1/2 ton cargo truck. It was gained
in 2000 from Forestry. It carries 1000 total gallons of water in two tanks and is equipped with a 400 GPM pump.



Engine 1: Engine 1 was bought by the department in 1992 from the Nichols Hills (OK)
Fire Dept. It is a 1976 American LaFrance, Pioneer Series. It has a 1000 GPM pump and carries 600 gallons of water.
It is the departments primary structure fire response unit.




Below is Engine 1 immediately after the department took delivery. The red line reels were removed and originally
mounted on Brush 1.

Engine 2: Engine 2 was bought by
the department in 1994. It is a 1964 Mack pumper. It carries 750 gallons and has a 1000 GPM pump. It is
the departments back-up structural fire fighting unit.


Quick Attack: This vehicle was obtained from the Forestry Service in 2001.
A grant was recieved which allowed the department to have the vehicle built professinally. It is a 2001 Dodge B3500
1 ton truck. It is equipped with a 400 GPM pump and carries 300 gallons of water.
