Roster

The Martha Fire Department is made up of volunteers from Southwestern Oklahoma. Many of the past and current firefighters are associated with nearby Altus AFB.

The department currently has only 14 firefighters.

The department also has several auxilliary firefighters. These individual's are trained to operate the pumps but are not actively involved in direct fire attack.

Fire Chief Don Hervey (871)

Chief Hervey served 30 years with the Altus AFB fire department. He retired in 2002. He has been with the Martha Fire Department since 1992. He became our Fire Chief in November 2002. In the past he also served with the Jakson and Tilman Counties EMS.

Assistant Chief Brandon Madl (875)

Brandon joined the department in 2000. He is a native to this area and graduated from Altus High School. Currently he is employed as a Security Guard for a local business.
